A Tip In Getting Your Single Serve Coffee Maker Free!

What is the "big idea" about single serve coffee maker? Why can't I get a filter drip coffee maker, a espresso maker or even an under cabinet coffee maker free?

Of course, I can simply tell you that as the author of this article, I like single serve coffee maker, so I am writing about it. But, I would not do this. So, first I would bring you through the merits of this coffee machine, then tell you how I managed to get it free!

Earlier, we mentioned filter drip, espresso and even under cabinet coffee maker, all great coffee machines capable of brewing good coffee, so why are we not talking about them?

I would just use one word to sum up everything -difficult. Yes, the reason why I prefer single serve coffee maker to any other coffee makers is just this -ease of use.

I am sure there are many people that can brew great coffee with filter drip, espresso or under cabinet coffee maker, but unfortunately I am not one of them. And if you are like me, not that great with appliances and does not feel like attending some coffee course, then single serve coffee maker would be your choice coffee machine.

All you need to know for this single coffee machine is to identify your coffee blend and also the power point. Following that, you only need to insert the coffee pods, and press a button to get your cuppa.

Personally, there is no simpler way to enjoy your coffee than single serve coffee maker, this is almost like instant coffee! The only difference is of course, the quality is that of roast and ground.

After going through all the value add that single serve coffee maker can bring to your life, you must be wondering how to get hold of one for free. Simple, all you need to do is to use it for a year. After that year, you would earned for yourself a few coffee makers!

Imagine drinking a coffee from starbucks or any other coffee shops at $3.50 per cup, then assuming that you need to have this caffeine fix for a year, and that would be $1277.50. If you use a single serve coffee maker, say, senseo which you can purchase for $100 and uses coffee pods at $0.80 per pods. The total cost comes up to $392.

The technology being the coffee pods is such that the flavor and quality of the coffee is sealed inside the pods, while the ease of using single serve coffee maker ensures that all you need to learn is where to press the button to get your coffee!

Sure, some of you might felt cheated by this whole article, but by shaving off expenses which you would have incurred, isn't that akin to getting something free? And the quality of the cuppa is comparable to those from Starbucks and it is still as easy to enjoy the coffee…

Essential Money Saving Tips For Students

It is easy to get caught in the rush of things when you are in college. In the midst of studying, part-time jobs, socializing and extracurricular activities that you have, you are most likely to forget one of the most important things, which is straightening out your finances.

Money Saving Tips for Students
Here are some tips on how you can save money as a student:

1. Plan ahead.

If possible, do this even before you move into your dorm room.

Check if you are eligible for scholarships and other grants before signing up for any form of student loan.

Construct a cash flow. First, where do you expect to get money from? Make a list of your income , be it from your parents, your student loan or your part-time job.

Then forecast your expected monthly or weekly expenses for food, books, etc. Once you have set aside a budget, be strict with yourself and stick to it.

You will never know what unexpected expenses would come your way so it is better to have a downfall for financial emergencies.

2. Save on food.

One of the major expenses that you have as a student which you might have ignored when you were still living with your parents is your food allowance. Avoid eating at fast food outlets, as this is most likely to ruin your budget. Pack your lunch and plan your meals as much as you can.

3. Take full advantage of student discounts.

Those ID s in your wallet are not just for show. Student ID s and memberships in organizations are honored in several establishments which offer discounts.

Also, patronize a certain establishment regularly and you are bound to get bonus cards for being a loyal customer.

4. Use your cash as much as you can.

Since you already have a draft of the items where you will spend your money, it is easier to monitor your cash flow. Avoid using your debit card when you have cash with you. Use your credit cards or write checks only in emergencies. Having debit cards, credit cards and checks handy might lead you to overspend.

5. Keep yourself busy.

Join clubs according to your field of interest.

Keeping busy will let your mind wander and help you stay away from things that you are likely to spend money on when you get bored. Examples of these are snacks, movie tickets or game rentals. More on Money Saving and Money Saving Tips.

Regardless Of Your Vision Correction, You Have Options

Do you recall when it happened to you? Do you remember the first time you realized your eyes didn’t work as well as your friends eyes did? For many it was when they excitedly waited in line at the DMV.

consider this scenario: after years, turned into months, then days, finally hours, and eventually minutes until you get your drivers license. The state employee behind the counter asks you to read a line on an eye chart. And all of a sudden, you realize you can’t see it!

Welcome to the world of vision correction. Most people you meet actually require a vision correction, whether you know it or not. There are multiple options for correcting vision, including eyeglasses, contact lenses, and surgery.

It then makes sense why so many people who have had great vision throughout life until later in life believe surgery can correct their vision.

The fact is that vision correction that comes up later in life is not the same as the teenager in the DMV. During adolescence, vision correction requirements are related to regular body growth and changes.

When someone requires a vision correction for reading later in life, it is an entirely different situation than the kid at the DMV. Around the age of forty, even if one never needed a vision correction before, reader glasses must be worn in order for someone to clearly see up close. While they are commonly referred to as reading glasses, they are essentially used to see anything up close clearly. These glasses will magnify anything held within a certain distance from the wearer’s eyes.

Usually the kid at the DMV, like the one discussed earlier, is nearsighted. Nearsighted means that a person can see clearly at near, but not at distance. This is easily corrected with eyeglasses or contacts.

Probably the best way to correct reading for people over the age of forty is with a pair of simple cheater glasses, or mens reading glasses for anyone who wants to read outside. There are plenty of styles readily available that offer full ultra-violet protection as well as reading power.

Regular eyeglasses can use a clip on for sun protection and those that wear contact lenses can use simple sunglasses. Readers are available in both womens styles and a wide option sun reading glasses that are largely available online or at some specialty stores.

There are also multifocal contact lenses available that, when fit properly, can assist you in seeing clearly in both the distance and up close.

So whenever it happened, whenever you first noticed you needed some sort of vision correction there are a variety of styles of glasses, contact lenses, and some surgeries that can assist you in seeing clearly.

Find Cheater Glasses Without Spending A Fortune

Previously, the general public was under the impression that there are only two choices in reading glasses. The first choice: buying an inexpensive pair at the local drug store. The second choice: visiting an expensive optical store and making a several hundred-dollar investment.

Their only choice was either looking like a cheapskate, or feeling like they were getting ripped off. Prescription glasses can cost up to one thousand dollars or more, since the price is based on frame style and the type of lens.

Designer label frames such as Prada or Armani are much more expensive than a sportswear brand such as Adidas or Candies. The frames by themselves usually cost between sixty and five hundred dollars.

Customers who have never purchased eyeglasses before often think that the frame price includes the lenses. They soon find out how wrong they are. It’s the lens that brings the price up so high, since most glasses need to be customized specifically for the wearer. Is it possible to maintain good vision with affordable eyeglasses The answer may surprise you!

Lenses have several options that can make your final, out-the-door cost much more expensive. Choices such as anti-reflective coating and sun protections are available. Depending on your frame choice, the materials available may vary.

Eyeglasses without rims and children's eye ware, for instance, must have lenses made of a polycarbonate. A higher correction in your lens might make a buyer consider a thinner, lighter lens. All of a sudden, the thrifty choice of eighty dollar frames, now have a two hundred dollar price tag!

While this may be necessary for someone who wears glasses daily, people who only need cheater glasses undoubtedly wish to seek other options. These are part time eyeglass wearers who need glasses that look good but don't cost a fortune. Reading glasses go through a lot more stress than regular glasses with the constant on and off.

It's true that you get what you pay for, and a two dollar pair of reading glasses will leave you wanting more in both style and effectiveness. Are there other options? Is there a mid-priced solution for people who wear reading glasses? Could there be a choice for people who want to look good without paying the hefty price tag?

I’m happy to tell you that yes; you can find such a miracle! There are even several options to choose from. Cutting-edge glasses designers have come to the realization that there is a significant need for a lens that meets the needs of the general population. Since reading glasses have the same magnifying glasses in both eyes, these can be made widely available. Finally, you can get great looking eyeglasses at a low cost. Now your vision or fashion do not have to be compromised. Remember to visit your eye doctor regularly and keep your eyes happy.

Keep Your Funds Purchasing Furniture At Auctions

While online auctions are quickly dominating the marketplace, real and in-person auctions are still the place to go for large ticket items like furniture. When working with an auction, there is then no need to search for product sales, discounts or clip coupons.

By allowing buyers to examine the merchandise up close and take the furniture with them when they leave, furniture auctions are a great way to pick up fantastic pieces for your home.

Keep reading if you want to learn how to save money on furniture by buying at auctions.

1. Find the Right Auction for You

If you're looking for deals on a comfy couch set for your recreation room, you don't need to attend a Christie's antique auction. Part of the secret to auction success is finding the right auction for you. Check your local newspapers' classified ads for estate sales and foreclosure auctions that fit your needs.

Become familiar with the local auctioneers in your area and ask to be included on any newsletters or email mailing lists that they send out. If you're interested in a particular style or brand of furniture, let them know so they can keep you informed.

2. Call Ahead and Research

Before you even go to the auction site, call ahead and see if a product catalog is available. This book will list each item along with a description, the starting price and possibly a picture. Staple a piece of paper to the back to write notes and take down the item numbers of pieces that interest you.

3. Get to the Viewing

Leave enough time at the viewing to properly look at and inspect each item that has caught your eye. While auction furniture tends to be in good shape, the quality is never guaranteed. Do a quick sweep of the stock and then a more thorough investigation of any furniture pieces for which you hope to place a bid.

4. Stick to your Budget

It can be very easy to go over budget in the high-anxiety and high-energy environment of an auction. Before you even step foot into the viewing area, set a budget for yourself and stick to it. If you don't think you can trust yourself in such an environment, ask a friend to come along to keep you in line.

5. Have Transportation on Hand

If you're planning to make a big purchase, be ready at the end of the day with a vehicle that has sufficient cargo space. Most auctioneers will only hold an item for so long before they start charging storage fees.

Gift Ideas For Fathe's Day In Canada : Canadian Price Comparison

We have all heard the stereotype that men are too stubborn to ask for directions. Well, why not help Dad out and make sure that he never has to inquire again. One of the best gifts this year for Fathers Day is a GPS device. The primary consumer GPS devices provided little more than latitude and longitude. But today’s consumer GPS can provide 3-D maps, voice over directions, real time traffic and Points of Interest. Take the Garmin Nuvi 350 for example. The Garmin Nuvi 350, can provide directions with the street name, and can alter driving routes based on current traffic conditions. Not only will Dad never have to ask for directions again, but you might have to get him a new stopwatch so that he can see how quickly he is getting everywhere.

Mother’s Day has simply passed which means that Father’s Day is right around the corner. The third Sunday in June is used by families to celebrate the father figures in our lives, whether it is our dad, granddad, uncle or someone else. Father’s Day is specially popular for its games of pickup basketball, football and of course a hearty barbecue. But this Father’s day, why not show Dad how special he is and get him something to show him how much you care. If you don’t yet know what you want to get, here are some best Father's Day gift ideas

But let’s say dad already knows where he is heading, and that just happens to be on a summer trip. A special gift idea for the traveling dad would be a new digital camera. Digital cameras offer a plethora of advantages over their traditional 35mm counterparts. But one does not need to be a professional lens man nor gizmo addict in order to run today’s digital cameras. For the less tech savvy Dad, a new point and shoot camera is the way to go. These are the more compact devices that can easily be slipped into a pocket. But don’t let the size fool you, point and shoot cameras have superior quality with some having a resolution as high as 10 megapixels. Many of the major brands offer a series of cameras such as the Canon Powershot, Kodak Easyshare and Fuji Finepix. But if your Dad is a little more into photography then a new Digital SLR can have him snapping photos like the Pros in no time. Digital SLR cameras are broadly larger than the point and shoot, but will have a lot more options, both in settings and accessories like interchangeable lenses and external flashes. With all of the options in digital cameras it is important to think about what is most significant. Does dad want to be able to bring it with him everyplace he goes, or does he want to be able to catch every bead of sweat in the pictures of the kid’s soccer game.

And what about those Dads who are still purchasing records. This Father’s Day would be a great opportunity to get him a new mp3 player. There are some great options like the Creative Labs Zen or the Toshiba Gigabeat, but this market is still controlled by the Apple iPod. Apple now has a broad variety of options for the iPod, from the small iPod Shuffle and iPod Nano to the larger iPod Classic and the iPod Touch. But if you want to make sure that everyone knows your Dad is up to date with the newest and greatest, then a special gift idea for this Father’s Day would be the Apple iPhone.

As we get together for Fathers Day this year let’s remember that nothing says Dad like a good barbecue. But don’t let Dad do the cooking this year over a bunch of burning sticks or the burning trashcan he may have used in college. Instead, he can pretend that he is Bobby Flay if he is doing the grilling on a brand new Weber, Kenmore or Vermont BBQ. Or of a new BBQ was last year’s Father’s Day gift, let’s help dad improve his food firing flair with some great barbecue tools or a grill topper.

One last word of advice for all you smart shoppers in Canada, make sure to use a price comparison in Canada service to find the best Canadian deals and make your Father’s day gift a real bargain!

My Father's Anniversary Ring

My father wore a ring. It was gold with a flat black onyx stone. His initials were set inset in small diamonds. It was not a wedding ring as my mother purchased it for him many years after they were wed. He wore it on the third finger of his left hand and was proud to show it to those who offered their complements, but always referred to it as his special symbol of my mother's love, his anniversary ring. You see, this was not your usual monogram ring. It was his 25th wedding anniversary gift. That ring is very special to me and it now resides in my jewelry box. I miss my father, but will always remember the day he got his Anniversary Ring.

Catalizer that brings down gas costs and eliminates pollution.

by George Fonanills

A catalyst that both saves gas and the environment.

Who wouldn't like to get a product that saves money and helps preserve the environment? Anyone would probably be interested to discover what it was and how to utilize it. Oil prices seem to rise almost weekly as countries like Iran, Venezuela, Iraq, Nigeria, and other oil producers make sure that instability remains high and prices up. At the same time, conscious people are looking for ways to save the environment for the generations to come. FFI's MPG caps, make that a reality.

The MPG caps are a state of the art technological marvels that have the ability to save on gas by increasing your car's fuel efficiency. Emissions from the exhaust are almost eliminated, we need that for the environment. Cancer and other types of diseases can be tracked back to the widespread use of gasoline and diesel. Cars should be equipped with the MPG caps in order to burn cleaner and more efficiently, the environment would be greatly helped by that.

The MPG Caps solution exist, so why don't more people utilize them when they are effective in saving money and reducing emissions. The answer is that they are relatively unknown right now, but those who have been lucky to find them are reaping the win win benefits for the wallet and the air. It is so easy to use them, just drop them in the tank of fuel and start enjoying the positive results.

How can a pill increase fuel efficiency? It is all possible because cars are extremely inefficient at utilizing the energy in gasoline already. Much of the energy formed in an internal combustion engine like your car's is lost in the form of heat. MPG caps change this by adhering to the walls of the combustion chamber in your car. When the additives in MPG caps are oxidized under high temperature, they make what can be likened to a reflective, non-stick surface within your engine. This means that energy that is typically lost as heat dissipation is instead preserved and utilized for extra expansion within the combustion chambers of the vehicle. In short, this translates as better fuel efficiency and more power.

Along with the physical effects on the internal surfaces of your engine, the MPG caps also change the burning characteristics of the gasoline itself. With a higher heat of burning, the gasoline provides more expansion within the chamber leading to a greater energy output. This is one of the primary efficiency increasing effects of MPG caps.

Emissions are decreased to almost zero because of the higher heat of burning. The noxious fumes are burned along with the gasoline that leads to emission-less fuel consumption. This is a great development for the environment and the future.
